Lockdown, work, home-school…

All a bit much?! Need a little help?

If you’re a busy working parent finding the juggling act all a bit much right now, why not let Flying Start give you a helping hand? Our team of expert tutors are on standby to help your child with their schoolwork – so you don’t have to! Lessons take place in one of our secure online classrooms – at a time to suit you. Students and tutors can see and hear each other and have access to a range of teaching tools – making learning interactive and fun.

Would your child like to learn along side their classmates?

Why not get a small group of (up to 6) friends together and we will set up a mini online school – just for them! All you need to do is find a suitable time each week, forward us the schoolwork you’d like our tutors to cover and we’ll do the rest. Want us to plan for you? That’s no problem either – just let us know when you enquire!

From only £8 a child per 6 pupil session!

Includes:

  • Weekly (or more often) lesson in virtual classroom
  • Bespoke programme of lessons – based on your child’s schoolwork
  • Motivational tips and techniques to help your child stay on track in between lessons
  • Access to the online classroom outside of the lesson time – perfect for sharing ideas, going over homework together – or just hanging out!

Want us to plan for you?

Let us know what you’d like the class to cover and our expert tutors can plan lessons for you from £11 per pupil in a class of 6.

Primary Maths and English Online School

Staying on track with the curriculum

Are you worried about your child’s core maths and English skills slipping during school closures and over the summer holidays?

We will be running online lessons every week covering core maths and English topics in keeping with the national curriculum. No need to get a class together, just let us know your child’s year group and we’ll group classes according to ability, with no more than 6 pupils per class.

English areas include: reading comprehension, spelling, grammar and vocabulary building.

Maths areas include: mental and written arithmetic and a wide range of curriculum topics such as fractions, decimals, time, money and worded problems.

Contact us using the form below for more information on any of the above tuition options.

I’m really pleased to be able to tell you that (our son) passed his 11+. He has said the tuition helped, and especially that Gill’s (sic) explanations helped with his maths in the classroom and not just for the test.
